Soft tampons are made of spongy polyurethane foam. The tampons are absorbent, soft and comfortable to wear. They adapt to the contours of your body and prevent blood from flowing into the vagina.

These soft tampons are dry tampons, meaning they do not contain any moisture or lubricant. You can use lubricant if you want or need it to make insertion easier.

The tampon is inserted by pushing it into the cervix with your finger. The tampon should not feel anything when it is deep enough. The tampon will flow downwards as it fills with blood, but it may momentarily bunch up during intercourse. It is usually easiest to remove a tampon using a tweezers grip while squatting and using your pelvic floor muscles to push the tampon slightly downwards.

Tampons have a small hole on your finger to make insertion and removal easier.

Use a tampon for a maximum of 8 hours. However, the need to change depends on the amount of leakage and the tampon may need to be changed earlier.
