The ropes are handmade in Oulu. They have been carefully treated three times. The treatment uses mild, fragrance-free and dermatologically tested baby oil.

Please note that hemp ropes have a characteristic hemp smell. The natural smell of hemp is hay-like, reminiscent of an old flour sack, the so-called stable smell. The smell does not disappear with use and cannot be processed away.
