This Shibari rope is designed specifically for moments where touch is calm, breathing is steady, and being together is paramount. Made from natural hemp, it feels alive and organic on the skin. Its strength, light rough surface, and flexibility make it ideal for binding where the body and rope interact.

The rope is handmade in Oulu, made with care and intention. Each 4-meter rope is treated three times with mild, fragrance-free and dermatologically tested baby oil. This treatment makes the rope pleasant to handle: it passes smoothly through the fingers, is easy to tie and feels soft on the skin without sharp fibers or discomfort.

Hemp is a natural material with its own recognizable scent. It has a warm, hay-like and slightly “stable smell” like an old flour sack. This is part of the authenticity of the material: the scent is part of the rope’s nature and does not disappear with use. It tells you where the rope comes from – from nature, not from industrial plastic.
